Kumar has over 30 years of professional experience in the fields of Taxation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Foreign Trade Policy & Customs.

He has vast experience in Customs and Foreign Trade Policy matters and has been advising various large auto and small auto component companies.

He has also worked with one of the Big 4 accounting and advisory firms.

He has helped various companies to avail the multitude of benefits available under the Foreign Trade Policy in India pertaining to the imports and exports.

His techno commercial background has helped in serving many clients to avail the incentives and find viable and practical solutions for complex issues.

He has assisted various companies to implement Brand Rate drawback, EOU/EHTP setup, SEZ setup, etc.

He is also involved in guiding clients, particularly large MNCs, in the completion of the Customs Valuations procedures.

He has conducted workshops and presented papers on Foreign Trade Policy and Customs before professional forums.
